Uxbridge is a historic mill town in south-central Massachusetts, about 15 miles southeast of Worcester near the Rhode Island border. Founded in 1727, the town was an important center of the Industrial Revolution and is home to the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor, which preserves its rich manufacturing heritage. The area offers a mix of small-town character with access to outdoor recreation along the Blackstone River and Canal.
