Quabbin Regional High School
Quabbin Regional High School serves several small towns in north-central Massachusetts, including Barre, Hardwick, Hubbardston, New Braintree, and Oakham. This rural region lies about 20 miles northwest of Worcester, characterized by forests, farmland, and proximity to the massive Quabbin Reservoir, which supplies drinking water to greater Boston. The school takes its name from this historic reservoir, created in the 1930s when four towns were intentionally flooded to meet the city's water needs.
