Ludlow is a mid-sized town in western Massachusetts, located about 10 miles northeast of Springfield along the Chicopee River. Originally developed as a mill town in the 19th century, particularly known for its jute mills, the community has evolved into a diverse suburban area while retaining much of its historical mill architecture. The town sits at the base of the Holyoke Range, offering scenic views and access to outdoor recreation in the nearby Mount Holyoke Range State Park.
