Danvers High

Danvers

Danvers is a suburban town about 20 miles north of Boston on the North Shore, with a rich colonial history dating back to 1636. The town is perhaps best known as the site of the Salem Village meetinghouse during the 1692 Salem witch trials, when Danvers was still part of Salem, and for later becoming an important center of American leather and shoe manufacturing. Today, Danvers blends historical preservation with modern suburban development, including the Liberty Tree Mall area, while maintaining access to both Boston and the North Shore coastal communities.
