Tantasqua Regional High School serves students from the towns of Brimfield, Brookfield, Holland, Sturbridge, and Wales in south-central Massachusetts, located roughly 20 miles southwest of Worcester. The region is characterized by rural landscapes, historic villages, and scenic New England countryside, with Sturbridge notably home to Old Sturbridge Village, one of the largest living history museums in the Northeast. The regional district was formed in 1953, bringing together these five small communities to provide comprehensive secondary education.
