Collegiate Charter School of Lowell
Lowell, located about 25 miles northwest of Boston along the Merrimack River, is a historic mill city known as the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution. Once home to the nation's largest textile manufacturing center in the 19th century, the city's historic canal system and brick mill buildings now house museums, artists' studios, and the Lowell National Historical Park. Today, Lowell is one of Massachusetts' most diverse cities, with vibrant Cambodian, Latino, and African immigrant communities contributing to its multicultural character.
